MediaAlarm update! v0.0.3.1
A small update with this one, but it did require a little code to pull off. The default alarm for the two alarms and snoozes has been changed to the Windows default MIDI DemoLoop.Mid! Shot is still the default for EggTimer. The auto-update checker has also been adjusted down from the rather excessive 8 weeks…

Fade In review
Let me just say this: I love Trelby. But I’ve outgrown it. If you’re getting started with screenwriting, start with Trelby. It hasn’t updated in years, but it’s FOSS and will teach you the essentials. Fade In sounded like it was going to do more of what I wanted and it’s a fraction of the…

Daydreams (Dreams by Van Halen parody)
This obviously needs some additional work and it’s probably not going to happen any time soon, but it’s something I threw together last night and picked away at a bit tonight. Enjoy! FADE IN: INT. REGISTER AREA – DAY DJ is working a cash register wearing something as close as possible to his normal shades,…

Site update: mobile redirects fixed
In posting the update to Dice and Random NEXT, I realized the Tools page redirected to MediaAlarm. I have gone through and determined a few pages actually redirected to MediaAlarm and the Ruby page redirected to the Jerako page. This has all been corrected. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Dice and Random NEXT update: Magic 8-Ball mode!

The Definitive Digimon Game
It’s not often I respond directly to someone else’s thing, but this video makes a very convincing argument that I kind of wanted to address. Go ahead and give it a watch. I’ll wait. Back? Okay. What is "definitive?" It’s no secret that I have my own soft spot for Digimon as a franchise. I…

HUGE update to MediaAlarm!
MediaAlarm now has ClickOnce installation and automatic updates! EggTimer has also had some branding fixes to call it MediaAlarm EggTimer in most of the important places. Space is short in some spots, but I think everyone will get the gist of it. Not gonna lie; this is SUPER exciting for me! The site has also…

If you need a countdown rather than a time alarm, EggTimer has you taken care of! Download the new and improved MediaAlarm with EggTimer here! To speak a little more on this for anyone still paying…

Why I am team “Permanent DST” (also VOTE!)
To preface this, I am not a sleep expert, nor am I a human behavioral expert, but I am VERY much an expert on not sleeping and living with standard time in the winter. Because of my old job, I am hyper-aware of the changing of seasons and the fading light. It is a superpower…

Software update: Dice and Random NEXT v1.0!
As much as 1.0 sounds fancy, the major changes are paired duplicate filtering (ever important) and a bugfix to the success selection (also rather important). Get it here! Happy rolling!
